Course Overview:

ICT Presentation Essentials provides a comprehensive exploration of presentation software tools and techniques, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to create and deliver impactful presentations in various professional settings. Students will learn how to create and deliver fantastic presentations, from the basics to some advanced techniques. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and hands-on projects, students will understand why having good presentation skills is important, and how to use images and words without any problems. Strategies to engage others as you prepare and deliver your presentations.

In this course, students will:
  • Plan and design professional slide decks using modern software and AI tools.
  • Create and format slides using themes, templates, and slide masters.
  • Integrate multimedia like images and audio while following copyright laws.
  • Add transitions and animations to make presentations more engaging.
  • Deliver presentations effectively using speaker notes and professional techniques.

Course Outline:

Lesson 1: Modern Presentations

After completing this lesson, you will be able to plan, design, and build professional slide decks by following a structured six-step process that incorporates team collaboration and AI tools. You will also master the legal and ethical side of presentations, including copyright compliance, fair use of multimedia, and ensuring content is accessible to all audiences.

Lesson 2: Working with Slides

After completing this lesson, you will be able to navigate presentation software to create, format, and manage professional slide decks from scratch. You will also master designing layouts with themes and multimedia, allowing you to efficiently organize content using tools like the ribbon, thumbnails, and designer features.

Lesson 3: Advanced Presentation and Delivery skills

After completing this lesson, you will be able to design and deliver professional, multimedia-rich presentations by mastering slide masters, transitions, and animations. You will also gain the technical skills to manage audio settings, incorporate speaker notes, and configure continuous loops for seamless automated displays.
