Candidates for this exam are Microsoft Teams administrators who deliver secure, efficient, and effective internal and external collaboration and communication capabilities with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.
This course prepares a student to take the Microsoft MS-700 - Managing Microsoft Teams national certification exam.
Course Outline:
Lesson 1: Introducing Teams
In this lesson, you will learn about the different aspects of Microsoft Teams that makes it a comphrensive tool to use for collaboration and communcation purposes.
Lesson 2: Getting Teams Up and Running
In this lesson, you will learn about the three main ways to get Microsoft Teams up and running: Migrating from Skype for Business, preparing your network for Microsoft Teams, and deploying the clients required for Microsoft Teams.
Lesson 3: Teams Core Functionality
This lesson will focus more on the more bread-and-butter activities such as the types of teams available, how you can control what features and functionality are available, and how to share content with guests.
Lesson 4: Advanced Teams Functionality and Management
This lesson will take us through some of the more advanced features in Teams, looking at things like how you can protect the data that your users are working with, as well as how you can control some of the lifecycle aspects around teams themselves (such as archiving or deleting them). We will also cover how you can use apps to integrate other services with your Teams deployment.
Lesson 5: Adding Telephony
In this lesson, we get to play with one of the cooler things that Teams can do: dealing with phone calls over the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
Lesson 6: Review Usage and Maintain Quality
Over the last few lessons, we have looked at getting everything prepped, working out how to configure and apply policies, and understanding security and compliance requirements that may apply to your organization. Now in this, our last lesson together, we are going to look at how you can track and measure usage of Teams. It's all very well if you have spent all this time and effort trying to get things working, but it won't matter at all if no one then uses it or if they have issues using it.
